Pete Brown, First African-American To Win A PGA Event, Believes in The Big Stik Driver

Hall of Fame Member Pete Brown overcame blatant racism and many other obstacles to become one of the pivotal sports figures during the turbulent civil rights era of the 1960s. Pete became the first African-American to win a PGA event when he won the 1964 Waco Turner Open. His athletic abilities and demeanor have been crucial in opening doors to all minorities in sports and business. Pete has continued his leadership in Dayton, Ohio as the PGA Professional at Madden Golf Course for more than 20 years.

Pete recently became a believer in the design of Divnick Golf's Big Stik Driver because of its ability to please and help golfers of all skill levels, not just the tour pros like some other golf manufacturers tend to do. In a unique design approach, Divnick Golf has found a way to make it easier for the average golfer to get the ball off the tee with higher lofted drivers in 11, 13, & 15 Degree lofts. This High Loft/Low Spin Technology combines the high loft and forgiveness of a 3-wood with a huge 400cc Titanium Driver head and full-length driver shaft for consistent booming drives down the middle of the fairway. Divnick Golf is revolutionizing the golf industry with this new High Loft driver innovation.

When asked to comment about the Big Stik driver, Pete said, "I have played a lot of golf and seen a lot of driver-advancements during my 17 years on the PGA Tour and more than 20 as a local pro. But everyday golfers have always struggled to use equipment that is designed for pros. That doesn't make sense. It's about time someone designed a club for the average player. The higher loft and light swing-weight of the Big Stik drivers easily produce higher trajectory, more consistent distance, and better accuracy. This club is great for men, women, seniors, and juniors who will find it much easier to get the ball in the air and hit more fairways."

A unique Distributor/Demo Day program allows current golf industry sales reps as well as average local golfers to represent the Big Stik, one of the "Hottest New Drivers" of 2004, by signing up as distributors and conducting profitable Demo Days in their local area. Reps are able to earn $100 per driver sold and can also earn ongoing commissions from local dealer sales. Often the Demo Days are held on weekends, so it is very possible to fill a part time role. Reps are independent, and are not held to minimum time commitments.
