Alpha Golf Drivers Highlighted At Upcoming Long Drivers of America Tour Championship in Dallas, Texas Alpha Team Captain Vince Howell Defends 2002 LDA Tour Championship Men's Open Division Title Flanked By Alpha Long Drive Teammates Carl Wolter and Greg Wellong CHATSWORTH, Calif. (November 6, 2003) - Alpha Golf (www.alphareactiongolf.com) drivers will be used by three of the favorites at this weekend's Long Drivers of America (LDA) Tour Championship, which will be held this coming Saturday, November 8th. Defending champion Vince Howell will bring his Alpha C830-2 driver to the site of the highlight of his professional long drive career, last year's Tour Championship win. Howell won the title with an LDA Tour record-setting 26-yard margin of victory. Howell is currently ranked second on the 2003 LDA Tour's Money leaders list. 2002 ReMax World Long Drive Champion Carl Wolter will bring his Alpha driver to the competition this weekend, as well. Wolter is ranked 6th on the 2003 LDA Tour money list and is determined to end this year with a win at Long Drive's "second major." Greg Wellong finished in 5th and 6th place at the 2002 and 2003 ReMax World Finals, respectively. Greg "Way Long" has won LDA Tour events during each of the last two seasons and he credits his Alpha Golf driver as being the hottest driver currently on the market. Current men's senior division ReMax World Long Drive Champion Eric Jones will bring his Alpha Golf driver to Dallas with a shot at earning Long Drive's first ever "Long Drive Slam" (a ReMax and a Tour Championship in the same year). If he can't get it done, expect 2003 ReMax 2nd place senior finisher Kurt Moore to have a great shot at winning the title for Alpha Golf. Moore lost to Jones at the ReMax championships last month by a mere 29 inches! Jones and Moore are ranked 6th and 7th on the LDA's senior money leader list. Former LPGA Touring pro Sally Dee will hit an Alpha Driver as she vies for the LDA Tour Championship's women's open division title. Dee took sixth place at the ReMax World Championships and is currently ranked 3rd on the LDA Tour money list.
