Mitchell Golf's Jackson Educates Australian PGA Members (November 14, 2003) - Jeff Jackson, Director of Marketing & Communication for Mitchell Golf Equipment Company, Dayton, Ohio, has recently returned from a speaking engagement at the Australian PGA show in Sydney, Australia. This was Jackson's third visit to Australia related to training members of the Australian Professional Golfers' Association in topics ranging from club repair and fitting to current equipment trends in the industry. Jackson hosted four seminars for the PGA, held at Sydney's Olympic Park. Attendance at the seminars was greater than expected, indicating the high interest level for education among PGA members.
Jackson has provided training for both Australian PGA members and apprentices in 1999 and 2000, in addition to this year. "The interest level among the Australian PGA members makes speaking to the members exciting. It is again an honor to be a key part of the education of PGA members." Ian Robilliard, Vice-President of the PGA of Australia, adds, "This year's seminars were the best yet. Members were highly interested in what the speakers had to say. The seminar sessions were certainly a highlight of this year's trade show."
