1988:
Bill Glasson wins the B.C. Open by two strokes over Wayne Levi and

Equipment
New HX golf balls introduced by Callaway Golf will become the premium
ball sold by the company, featuring a hexagon and pentagon pattern for
better carry and retailing for $58/dozen. Callaway's Rule 35 balls have
been reintroduced as the CTU 30 with a thinner, cast thermoset urethane
cover and will be sold in three-ball sleeves instead of five-ball sleeves.
Both balls are available in Blue for Soft Feel and Red for Firm Feel.

Thirty-seven official money events and five unofficial events make up
the Senior PGA Tour schedule for 2002. The season opens with the
MasterCard Championship Jan. 18-20 in Hawaii and 30 tournaments will be
aired on PAX-TV and CNBC.
