1932: Having already won the U.S. and British Opens, Gene Sarazen fails to to qualify for the match play at the PGA Championship at Keller Golf Club in St. Paul, Minn.

1937: Johnny Goodman defeats Ray Billows 2 up in the final to win the U.S. Amateur at Alderwood Country Club in Portland, Ore.

1954: Arnold Palmer defeats Robert Sweeny 1 up to win the U.S. Amateur at the Country Club of Detroit. Palmer is 24.

1983: Nick Price wins the World Series of Golf by four strokes over Jack Nicklaus.

1994: Six down at one point, Tiger Woods, 18, rallies to defeat Trip Kuehne 2 up at the TPC at Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra, Fla., to become the youngest player ever to win a U.S. Amateur Championship.

Heather Daly-Donofrio won the First Union Betsy King Classic, her first LPGA Tour win, on Sunday wearing CHAMP's ScorpionSpikes. According to Darrell Survey, nearly 30 percent of the field wore the ScorpionSpikes and nearly 53 percent of the field wore CHAMP-brand cleats.
