(April 16, 2003) - PerryGolf (www.PerryGolf.com), the industry leader in customized and luxury international golf travel, working in conjunction with Trip Mate Insurance Agency, one of the leading providers of travel protection, has created a special coverage Travel Protection Plan for PerryGolf travelers (available on deposited bookings April 15, 2003 onwards), which meets the needs and expectations of today's discerning international leisure traveler. The benefit of this extended plan to participants who cancel for any reason, not otherwise covered, is that the Cancellation For Any Reason Waiver provides a travel certificate for future travel with PerryGolf within 18 months of the date of cancellation. Previously, and with most travel companies, participants would have lost a significant, or total, financial portion of monies paid. Participants, who opt for the extended plan, will now receive a combination of a future travel certificate and refund. Any travel certificates received are non-transferable, not redeemable for cash and may only be redeemed by the named persons. Redeemed travel certificates may only be used for the final payment, they cannot be applied to deposits or the purchase of Travel Protection on a future PerryGolf trip. The general Travel Protection Plan may be purchased at any time until final payment, however in order to have this extended to include the Cancellation For Any Reason Waiver, it must be purchased within 7 days of making the initial trip deposit payment. If it is not purchased within 7 days it will not include the Cancellation For Any Reason Waiver. Cost for the Travel Protection Plan with Cancellation for Any Reason Waiver ranges from 6.5% -7.5% of the total land portion of the trip. The basic Travel Protection Plan provides coverage if cancellation is caused by a covered reason (e.g., sickness or injury) and participants will receive a normal benefit under the terms and conditions of the Travel Protection Plan. The Cancellation For Any Reason Waiver does not apply to cancellations received within 14 days of the first scheduled land travel arrangement provided by PerryGolf.
