BARRINGTON, R.I. (April 23, 2003) - The CVS/pharmacy Charity Classic, hosted by PGA TOUR professionals Brad Faxon and Billy Andrade, today announced tickets are on sale for the 2003 CVS/pharmacy Charity Classic.

The event will be held June 22 - 24, 2003, at the Rhode Island Country Club in Barrington, RI.

Tickets for the event will be available for purchase by calling the ticket office at 866.CVS.9441or by visiting any CVS/pharmacy store. Customers using their ExtraCare Card receive $10 off their ticket purchase until May 30, 2003.

To find out more information about tickets or the tournament, visit The CVS/pharmacy Charity Classic website at www.cvsgolf.com.

"CVS/pharmacy is committed to bringing major-league golf to Rhode Island at a minor-league price," said Tom Ryan, chairman, president and CEO of CVS Corporation. "Nowhere else in golf will you find a small, personal field of 20 golf greats at an affordable price."

Rich Beem, 2002 PGA Championship winner, and Dana Quigley, 2003 MasterCard Championship winner, will headline a field that includes Chris DiMarco and Dudley Hart, defending champions; Fred Couples; Peter Jacobsen; and 14 more of golf's biggest names.

Hosts Faxon and Andrade joined with CVS in 1999 to create a world-class professional golf event in Rhode Island as a way to raise money for charity. In the past four years, the CVS/pharmacy Charity Classic has raised more than $2.3 million for local non-profit organizations.
