Yuengling Brewery Extends Contract As Title Sponsor of Inside Golf

POTTSVILLE, Pa. (December 28, 2001) -- Yuengling Brewery and the weekly Inside Golf television show have agreed to extend their title sponsorship agreement. Yuengling, the sponsor of Inside Golf since October of 2000, has signed on as title sponsor through December of 2002.

"Yuengling and the world of golf are a natural connection and Inside Golf promotes that," said David Casinelli, Executive Vice President for Yuengling Brewery. "The Inside Golf television show was our first venture into widespread promoting of our product on the air. It has been a tremendous success and the high quality of the show fits perfectly with our company image."

Yuengling, widely known as America's oldest brewery, has grown tremendously in recent years and has established itself as a great business success story. Yuengling has matured from a tiny coal region brewery into the leading regional brewery in the country. Recently purchasing another brewery in Tampa Fla., Yuengling beer can now be seen throughout the East Coast.

Inside Golf is recognized as the leading regional golf program in the country. The award winning golf magazine-style television show will begin its fifth year on Comcast SportsNet in January.

"We are elated that Yuengling Brewery has once again extended its affiliation with us," said Ken Selinger, President of CCI Communications, the company that owns Inside Golf. "They are an outstanding sponsor and their hands-on approach to the show has made it more fun for all of us."

Yuengling commercial spots will run weekly on the show. Inside Golf will also work with the brewery on numerous promotions throughout the year, including its launch in North and South Carolina in 2002.

Inside Golf airs weekly on Comcast SportsNet -- 6 p.m. Saturday, 5:30 a.m. Sunday and 11 a.m. Wednesday.
