(August 5, 2003) - Allen Doyle moved up three slots from 16th to 13th
in the Power Performance Rankings after winning the FleetBoston Classic.
Craig Stadler's 23rd place finish dropped him out of first place and
turned the top spot back to Tom Watson. Watson has only been out of the
number one position one week since June of 2002 because when he plays,
he plays well.
Others making moves up included Jay Sigel from 42nd to 34th; Jim Dent,
from 50th to 47th; Bobby Wadkins from 36th to 33rd; Bob Gilder from 8th
to 7th.
Those moving down included: Mark McCumber from 22nd to 24th; Dave Barr
from 24th to 26th; David Eger from 13th to 17th;
Biggest moves : Eamonn Darcy from 39th to 28th.; Dale Douglass from
48th to 36th.
Making his debut: John Harris at # 57. In danger of dropping off for
too few total points: John Mahaffey, Dale Douglass, Tom Wargo.
Last column is position on Champions Tour money list. This system is
not compiled by the PGA Tour.
