On the US PGA TOUR this week, Davis Love III continued his superb season by winning The Heritage at Harbour Town Golf Link in Hilton Head, South Carolina. Davis ousted Woody Austin at the fourth extra play-off hole and as a result he moves past Phil Mickelson and back to the World No.3 position. Runner-up Woody Austin moves up 140 positions from World No.294 to No.154 while 2004 US Ryder Cup Captain Hal Sutton makes a return to the Top-200 at No.197.

The Swede Fredrik Jacobson captured his second victory of the 2003 European Tour International Schedule as he won the Algarve Open de Portugal at the Vale do Lobo Golf Club in Southern Portugal. The 2002 Omega Hong Kong Open Champion enjoys a 39-spot improvement this week as he returns to the World Top-100 at No.72.
