Tiger Woods Makes History With His Fourth Consecutive Win At The Bay Hill Invitational In Florida The Top-50 Players In The World From The March 23 2003 Official World Golf Ranking All Qualify For The Players Championship Contact Matt Boucher (March 24, 2003) - On the US PGA Tour this week, the World No.1 Tiger Woods continued to re-write the record books as he won the Bay Hill Invitational in Orlando by eleven strokes. Woods' eleven-stroke victory was the largest margin in the 25-year history of the Bay Hill event and he becomes the first person since Gene Sarazen in the Miami Open (1926-30) to win the same tournament in four consecutive years. At the same time, Woods remains the World No.1 for the 258th week (188 of them consecutively) and stretches his lead over Ernie Els at the top of the World Ranking to 8.40 points. Four players shared the runner-up spot at the Bay Hill Club this week. Brad Faxon improves 14 spots to No.27; Kenny Perry moves up 10 to No.20; Kirk Triplett advances 26 spots to No. 59 and Stewart Cink moves up 20 to No.63. Aaron Baddeley continues his great year as he finished in outright sixth place and moves to World No.77. The European Tour International Schedule moved onto Santo de Serra this week for the Madeira Island Open in which Bradley Dredge won by eight shots after a brilliant third-round 60.
