Sales of West End Apparel's Firethorn Junior Clothing Spike Up First Reps Added Contact Kathy Bissell WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (July 30, 2003) - Initial sales of West End Apparel's Firethorn junior clothing are exceeding expectations according to Aubrey Linville, COO, West End Apparel, LLC. Sales representatives have been added to handle greengrass accounts in several areas of the Southeast. "We have had a tremendous initial response to the clothing line through the National Junior Golf Club," said Linville. "The biggest seller is the solid, followed by the pique feed stripe." "To reach greengrass shops, we have started building a sales force," added Rob Garrett, CEO, West End Apparel, LLC. "We are pleased to announce our first four sales representatives. They are John Dougherty, South Carolina and Georgia; Bill Morris, North Carolina; Joe Heim, Maryland and Virginia; and Mike Mondor, SW Florida." West End Apparel, LLC, was formed in the second quarter of 2003 to create a line of clothing for junior golfers. Subsequent to the formation of the company, West End Apparel became the exclusive North American licensee for Firethorn junior clothing, a line that is manufactured by Redstone of Montreal, Canada, for West End Apparel. Suggested greengrass retail on solid color, cotton pique, junior shirts for sizes 6-12 is $24.99 for solids and, for stripes, $29.99. Custom-logoed shirts may be slightly more.
