TaylorMade-adidas Golf Announces Organizational Changes

CARLSBAD, Calif. (August 6, 2003) - Approximately six months after Mark King assumed the role of CEO and President of TaylorMade-adidas Golf (TMaG), the company has announced several organizational changes.

Edward Hughes, General Manager of North America, TaylorMade, has been appointed Senior Vice President Global Marketing/General Manager of North America, TaylorMade; his duties will include running TaylorMade's North American business, global marketing and sports marketing. He will also coordinate the global activities of TaylorMade Asia and TaylorMade Europe.

Sean Toulon, Vice President of Global Product and Brand Creation, TaylorMade, has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Brand Management and Creation, TaylorMade, and is now responsible for brand management and product creation for TaylorMade, Maxfli and Rossa. Toulon will report to Robert Erb, Esq., Executive Vice President, TMaG and President, adidas Golf.

Said King, "I'm confident that Edward's experience within the industry, combined with his business acumen and talent for management, will result in continued improvement in our already dominant position in the marketplace. Likewise, I'm confident that TaylorMade-adidas' well-known reputation for product innovation and quality will continue to remain strong under the guidance of Sean Toulon."

Additional TMaG organizational changes include:

Merle Marting, Vice President of Product Marketing and Brand Creation, Maxfli, has been appointed Vice President of Global Product Marketing, TaylorMade-adidas Golf. Marting's responsibilities include managing TMaG's global marketing activities, including public relations, marketing communications and emarketing (web-based activities including TMaG's websites and email marketing campaigns). He will report to Edward Hughes.

Chris Holiday has been hired as Vice President of Sales, North America, TaylorMade. Formerly Senior Vice President of U.S. Sales for Callaway Golf, Holiday served 11 years at Callaway, starting in 1990 as a sales representative. Prior to that Holiday was owner/partner of Supreme Golf of Colorado, a five-store chain of retail golf shops. He will report to Edward Hughes.

Chuck Presto, Director of Business Development, TaylorMade-adidas Golf, has been appointed Senior Director of Global Sports Marketing, TaylorMade-adidas Golf, and is now responsible for all areas of sports marketing, including TMaG's presence on the world's major professional golf tours. He will report to Edward Hughes.

Tom Cismoski, Director of U.S. Tour Operations, TaylorMade-adidas Golf, has been appointed Senior Director of Corporate Sales, and is now responsible for managing and growing sales of TMaG's entire portfolio of products to corporate clients around the world. He will report to Edward Hughes.

Bill Price has been hired as Director of Product Marketing for the Maxfli brand. Price, a 22-year industry veteran, has held the title of General Manager for Pure Spin Golf for the past three years, and previous to that was employed by Kunnan Golf, Yamaha and Wilson Golf. He will report to Robert Erb.
