ClubCorp Names Brad Kocher; Senior Vice President Of Golf Course Management Contact Patty Jerde DALLAS (August 8, 2003) - ClubCorp, the world leader in delivering premier golf, private club, and resort experiences, has named Brad Kocher as senior vice president of golf course management. In his role, Kocher will serve as the senior leader providing guidance and coordination to all levels of management on golf course-related issues. He will be based in North Carolina and also will continue in his current position as director of grounds and golf course management at Pinehurst in the Village of Pinehurst. Kocher, who has been with ClubCorp for 29 years, has overseen the quality of golf course play and maintenance of each of Pinehurst's eight courses, including Pinehurst No. 2, home to the 1999 and 2005 U.S. Opens. During that time, Kocher also served as regional superintendent and as an executive committee member for ClubCorp's resorts division. He played an integral role in the overall golf operations of Pinehurst; Barton Creek in Austin, Texas; and The Homestead in Hot Springs, Virginia. Kocher has worked in the industry since 1961 and is active in various North Carolina and national turfgrass associations including the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America. He is past president of the South Florida Superintendents Association and past co-chairman of the North Carolina Golf Day for turfgrass research. Kocher received a Bachelor of Science degree in management from Miami University in Ohio in 1971 and is a certified superintendent by the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America. He resides in Moore Country, North Carolina, with wife Beth, who also works for Pinehurst. They have one daughter.
