MARLBOROUGH, Mass. (August 11, 2003) - MacNeill Engineering Worldwide announced that their long-time CFO, Donald Cragan, has retired and new CFO Richard Locke has been hired as the head of financial operations for the company.

Mr. Cragan has spent 13 years as MacNeill's CFO, during which time MacNeill grew its CHAMP(R) brand into the world leader in sport cleat technology(TM). Mr. Locke, an accredited CPA, comes to MacNeill having spent 13 years as Senior Manager in the prestigious accounting and consulting firm of BDO Seidman, based in Boston, Mass. His vast financial experience and years of working closely with MacNeill on its auditing practices makes Locke the natural choice for this position.

Locke's position will be directly responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the company. This encompasses all departments within MacNeill's global manufacturing, distribution and sales offices, which are located in the U.S., Europe, and the Pacific Rim.

"Rich's experience and knowledge makes him a true asset to the MacNeill team," said Harris MacNeill, CEO of MacNeill Engineering. "In fact, Rich is already familiar with MacNeill's operations and has shown himself to be a perfect fit for our progressive needs. He brings a new energy to our rapidly growing business."
