MembersFirst brings Westwood a new level of interaction which will result in communicating timely club information and news 24/7, increasing member participation at social events and tournaments, increasing memberships, increasing revenues and building a greater sense of community. Nestled on 11 oak-covered acres hugging the Lake Austin shoreline, Westwood Country Club has been home to Austin families for more than 40 years. Like its membership, Westwood has grown and evolved over the years, but it has stayed true to the dream of its founding members: to create a comfortable, friendly, relaxing and wholesome environment that the entire family can enjoy. Westwood masterfully blends the charm of early 1900's architecture, picturesque surroundings and modern expansions to create a facility unique among Austin clubs. At the heart of the complex is the McClendon home, a medieval French mansion built in 1925 by Judge and Mrs. James W. McClendon.
