SELLERSBURG, Ind. (June 20, 2002) - Newly crowned Senior PGA Champion, Fuzzy Zoeller, credits his putting down the stretch for his victory at the Senior PGA Championship at the famed south course at Firestone Country Club in Akron, OH. "No doubt you have to drive it well here at Firestone," Zoeller said. "But for me, it was the confidence I had with my putter. I literally felt as though I could make anything from 20 feet - it's nice when the hole looks that big." Zoeller carded only 25 putts including 10 one putts in his final round at the Senior PGA Championship.

Zoeller announced the launch of his new training aid called THE PUTTING PEG. "It took three years for me and my partner, Dave Lobeck to perfect this. I practiced with it all week and boy did it work," Zoeller said. (Dave Lobeck is the president and COO of Fuzzy Zoeller Productions, Inc. and is largely responsible for the concept and design of this training aid.)

"THE PUTTING PEG and THE PUTTING POD are unique putting aids," Zoeller says. After three years in development, the PUTTING PEG and the indoor version, THE PUTTING POD, will give all golfers the ability to improve by putting to a SMALL target and getting BIG results. Shaped like a golf tee, THE PUTTING PEG sharpens skill level while giving the player immediate feedback - the sound of the ball falling in the hole. The indoor version neatly sticks to carpeting and when struck produces the sound of a made putt.

"I've always practiced putting to a tee," said Zoeller. "But I missed that important sound - I needed to hear the sound of the ball falling in the hole. So Dave and I invented THE PUTTING PEG. Ten minutes with this and that hole looks like the Grand Canyon! It's amazing. It took us a long time to get something so simple to be so good.

We invested a lot of time in the device - but it was worth it. It's unlike anything else out on the market. Fuzzy proved that on Sunday at Firestone," Lobeck said.

Both THE PUTTING PEG and PUTTING POD will be in retail stores and golf shops July 20. See it in action at www.puttingpeg.com and learn the full story behind the development of one of the greatest training aids ever developed.
