DENVER, Colorado (April 25, 2002) - GolfTEC, the high-tech golf instruction company, is offering 50 percent discounts off any lesson package to customers of former competitor Bogart Golf, a Bellevue, Wash.-based company that has decided to close its doors.

GolfTEC and Bogart competed in the Dallas, Atlanta and Denver markets. GolfTEC also has three learning centers in the Chicago area, where Bogart did not have stores.

GolfTEC lesson programs normally range in price from $300 for five half-hour sessions to $1,125 for 25 half-hour sessions.

The 50 percent off offer is good until June 15th, according to Mike Clinton, senior vice-president and co-founder of GolfTEC. Customers should bring proof of their Bogart affiliation, such as a cash or credit card receipt.

GolfTEC is a fact-based golf instruction system that combines the skills of PGA teaching professionals with a unique blend of video, motion analysis and biofeedback technology aimed at helping golfers improve their golf skills and, ultimately, derive more enjoyment from the game. The company's students range from beginners to touring professionals - both men and women - from the ages of one to 98. Since it was founded seven years ago, the company's certified teaching pros have given 100,000 golf lessons.
