SRIXON® INTRODUCES INNOVATIVE AD 333 GOLF BALL

First and Only Golf Ball with Rabalon Cover and Odd Number Dimple Pattern

ATLANTA, Ga. (January 29, 2004) - Srixon Sports, a leader in golf ball and golf club technology, today introduced its newest ground-breaking product - the Srixon AD 333 golf ball. The AD 333 golf ball features two industry firsts: It's the first golf ball ever made with the revolutionary Rabalon elastomer cover, and the first golf ball ever to feature an odd number dimple pattern.

"The soft 2-piece category for years has been characterized by products with catchy names and interesting packaging. We wanted to provide this consumer with a ball created from pure science, and Dr. (Tetsuo) Yamaguchi has created a first in this segment with the AD 333," said Richard Stamper, Srixon's Chief Operating Officer. "His use of Rabalon and advanced, seamless aerodynamics on the AD 333's cover will help to provide golfers of all abilities the three things they covet most - long distance, superior control and excellent feel. Once again, he has elevated the bar in golf ball design," added Stamper.

The AD 333 utilizes the new revolutionary Rabalon blended elastomer cover, exclusive to Srixon. Rabalon is a soft and durable material that is 35-percent more resilient than ionomer, the material found in competitive 2-piece products. This increase in resilience provides greater ball speed and initial velocity off the tee while providing soft feel and spin on all approach shots into and around the green.

The AD 333 cover also features a new, aerodynamically superior 333 dimple pattern-the world's first golf ball cover with an odd number of dimples. These unique aerodynamics provide excellent low-speed lift which keeps the ball airborne longer increasing carry, and a shallow angle of descent for more roll, delivering much greater overall distance for all swing speeds.

Powered by Srixon's proprietary Energetic Gradient Growth (EGG) core (which is firmer on the outside and gets progressively softer towards its center), the AD 333 delivers the optimal launch conditions-a high launch angle with low spin.

The AD 333 will be sold exclusively in on- and off-course golf shops and carries a suggested retail price of $29 per dozen.

SRIXON® INTRODUCES I-302® FORGED CAVITY BACK IRONS - TECHNOLOGY AND TRADITION IN THE SAME CLUB

Traditional Design and Contemporary Features Target Advanced Golfers

Srixon Sports today announces the launch of the Srixon I-302 irons, which further demonstrate the company's level of expertise in club design and technology. Srixon I-302 irons are beautifully crafted, forged cavity backs that are very traditional in shape and very modern in performance. The I-302 features a "6x struck" forging process for precise shape of club heads, progressive center of gravity placement for great trajectory control and a large effective sweetspot, and leading playability characteristics desired by skilled players.

"The I-302 is a beautiful piece of equipment designed through our proprietary Digital Impact Technology that truly reveals impact dynamics between the club and ball," said Richard Stamper, Srixon's Chief Operating Officer. "With the I-302, the serious golfer gets a classic looking blade profile at address with the playability and forgiveness that have been the hallmarks of Srixon products and Digital Impact Technology."

The I-302 series features a perimeter weighted "Tour Cavity" clubhead constructed of soft 1025 forged carbon steel that is shaped by a "6x struck" forging process instead of the customary "4x struck". This industry-leading process provides more consistency to the grain and more precise shape of the club head.

Modifying the shape of the "tour back cavity" from the long irons through the short irons determines the distance from center of gravity to shaft line optimally through the I-302 sets. This allows an easier squaring of the clubface for the long irons and the optimal penetrating trajectory on the short irons, providing golfers with superior control in all playing situations.

The I-302 irons are very playable from top to bottom because the thin topline will provide the accomplished player the confidence to shape shots and attack all pin placements. The "double round" radiused sole allows the club to glide easily through all turf conditions.

I-302 irons are available for right-handed players in 2 through 9, as well as pitching (46 degrees), approach (51 degrees) and sand (57 degrees) wedges. Suggested retail price is $799 per steel set (3-PW).

SRIXON® INTRODUCES GROUND-BREAKING UR-X WITH LARGEST EVER EFFECTIVE CORE PLAYED ON TOUR

Robert Allenby Heads List of Converts to Rubber-Core Ball

Srixon Sports today introduces the company's newest and most innovative product - the Srixon UR-X golf ball. This technological breakthrough has the most rubber and largest effective core of any ball ever played on Tour. The rubber boundary layer and rubber core measures an impressive 1.62" in diameter, and the UR-X is 96% rubber, truly putting the UR-X in a category of its own.

More rubber in a golf ball means greater resilience. With the UR-X nearly all rubber, the tremendous resiliency of the ball generates increased ball speed and longer distance while producing exceptional feel. The Srixon UR-X also features the thinnest thermoplastic urethane (TPU) cover in the world encasing the powerful core.

"One of the keys to the UR-X is putting as much rubber in the golf ball as possible. Dr. (Tetsuo) Yamaguchi and his team of engineers have built the largest effective core on Tour using rubber. More rubber, more distance. It's that simple," said Richard Stamper, Srixon's Chief Operating Officer. "While the rage on Tour is all about distance these days, the UR-X provides this distance and more, but with a softer feel because of the high rubber content. This ball launches high with low spin, flies long and has great feel and control into the green."

Robert Allenby, Alex Cejka and Anthony Painter head the list of Tour players worldwide competing with the new UR-X. In fact, Cejka recently finished runner-up in the B.C. Open, and Allenby tied for 17th in the FedEx St. Jude Classic, his first outing with the UR-X.

Srixon's proprietary E.G.G. core design is also part of the secret to the new UR-X. The E.G.G. core, firm on the outside and progressively softer towards the middle, reduces spin and increases launch angle for optimal trajectory and greater distance. Controlling launch characteristics with this unique core allows Srixon to maximize rubber content without having to use a hard mid-layer like ionomer (plastic).

The UR-X will be sold exclusively in on and off-course golf shops and carries a suggested retail price of $52 per dozen.

SRIXON® ADDS W-302 DRIVER TO CLUB LINEUP

W-302 Features 380cc's of Digital Impact Power and Accuracy

Srixon Sports today introduces the W-302, the latest innovation from Dr. Tetsuo Yamaguchi, the father of the modern high COR driver. This 380cc driver represents the best that Srixon's proprietary Digital Impact technology has to offer, in a size and shape that will inspire all golfers to make their best, most aggressive swings.

"Dr. Yamaguchi's willingness to challenge the status quo changed golf club design as we know it," said Richard Stamper, Srixon's Chief Operating Officer. "From his pioneering research that gave way to the creation of the modern high COR driver to today's introduction of the W-302, he continues to revolutionize the equipment that all golfers play."

The W-302 driver retains the same trajectory control, impact power face technology that made Srixon's XXIO driver the number one selling driver in Japan in 2002. The W-302's extremely thin, forged 6-4 titanium clubface measures 3.1mm in the middle and 2.35mm on the periphery. The clubface and proprietary sound rib design provide the golfer with tremendous feel and sound response for crucial feedback on every shot.

The W-302 has a center of gravity that is placed lower than competitive large volume driver models to produce optimum launch conditions - reduced spin and high launch angle for a penetrating trajectory resulting in greater carry and roll.

For maximum forgiveness, the W-302 features an elliptical high COR area that extends from high toe to low heel, which is where most golfers strike the ball. The W-302 also features the Autoturn design. The center of gravity in the higher lofts is placed towards the heel and moves progressively towards the toe in the lower lofts for more accuracy and optimized trajectory.

The W-302 driver is available in right-handed lofts of 7.5, 8.5, 9.5 and 10.5 degrees. Suggested retail price is $399 per driver.

SRIXON® ADDS W-302 FAIRWAY WOODS TO CLUB LINEUP

W-302 Fairway Woods Feature Digital Impact Technology

Srixon Sports today announces the W-302 line of fairway woods, the latest innovation from Dr. Tetsuo Yamaguchi, the father of the modern high COR driver. The four W-302 fairway woods-Srixon's second generation of fairway woods-are designed with a size and shape that will inspire all golfers to go after those par-five's in two.

"Dr. Yamaguchi was able to use the same Digital Impact Technology found in the W-302 driver for use in the W-302 line of fairway woods," said Richard Stamper, Srixon's Chief Operating Officer. "His ability to utilize the same technology in both the W-302 driver and fairway woods solidifies the fact that he continues to revolutionize the equipment that all golfers play."

The W-302 fairway woods' forgiveness and accuracy extends from the expanded and elliptical high COR area that is located from high toe to low heel, which is where most golfers strike the ball. The center of gravity in the higher lofts is placed towards the heel and moves progressively towards the toe in the lower lofts for more accuracy and optimized trajectory.

Golfers will now be able to move the club more easily through all turf conditions due to the "autoturn design." This design features a 10-gram, Tungsten-nickel weight located in the sole of each W-302 fairway wood to help lower the center of gravity for a high launch angle and reduced spin. And, with the addition of another fairway wood in the line-a 3+-wood (strong three)-golfers will have a club choice for every shot making condition.

The W-302 fairway woods are available in right-handed lofts of 12.5, 14.5, 16.5, 18.5, and 20.5 degrees. Suggested retail price is $280 per fairway wood.
