Michelle Jaminet STUART, Fla. (October 25, 2001) -- The stage is being set for the fourth annual Willie Gary Celebrity Golf Classic and the cast of characters is shaping up to be better than ever. This year's invited guests include Actor Samuel L. Jackson, NBC "Today" host Matt Lauer, CBS' morning show host Bryant Gumbel, the NFL's greatest passer, Dan Marino and the league's most winning coach, Don Shula. Also invited are singer Michael Bolton and even Major League Baseball's Roger Clemens, actresses Marla Gibbs and Kim Fields, plus co-star of Rush Hour, Chris Tucker. Former Heavyweight Boxing Champion Evander Holyfield is expected to team- up once again with former Miami Dolphins receiver Nat Moore and Willie Gary to defend their title as last year's celebrity golf champions. However, as usual, the biggest winners will be the numerous kids who will get scholarships. For the past three years, Attorney Willie Gary has hosted this event which has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for the Gary Foundation, which grants scholarships to children in our community who might not be able to afford a college education. This year's Willie Gary Celebrity Golf Classic is teed-up for Saturday, December 15, 8:30am at the PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida, the winter home for the Professional Golfers Association. In addition to golf on Saturday, all participants are invited to the annual Willie Gary Holiday Party on Friday night, December 14, at the firm's Stuart waterfront office. Pair up with a celebrity golfer or register your company to be a sponsor of what has become one of South Florida's most popular celebrity golf events. For more information on registration and sponsorship please contact Michelle Jaminet at (561) 659-7273 or by e-mail at williegarygolf@aol.com.
