Teens On The Green Challenges 22 European Countries Contact Renny Roker (August 7, 2003) - The top ten Teens On The Green competitors (5 males, 5 females) will travel to Riga Latvia (formerly Russia) to compete in the European Junior Golf Tour (EJGT) August 30 & 31st Championships which feature top junior participants from twenty two European countries. The ten TOG youngsters attending are a diverse group featuring African Americans, Hispanic Americans, Asian Americans, Caucasian and Native Amerians and one junior from Denmark that participated in most of the Teens On The Green World Championship Series. Renny Roker CEO of Teens On The Green stated " this is a wonderful opportunity for youngsters who have never traveled outside of the United States to enjoy a remarkable cultural experience" Teens On The Green is the most diverse international Televised Junior Golf Program in the world with youngsters of every ethnic group in America. With emphasis on "High Grades, and Low Scores" Teens On The Green has been able to assist in securing scholarships for youngsters from as far away as Zimbabwe, Korea and the Caribbean. Teens On The Green will host youngsters from the EJGT twenty two countries, and more than 45 countries out side of Europe on November 6th t0 9th in St Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands. By providing "Ranked" events for ALL YOUNGSTERS of all colors regardless of financial status, and demanding educational excellence of all participants, Teens On The Green is creating a positive environment and a unique experience for youngsters that have been denied this opportunity based on racial and financial status. Teens On The Green also has the highest average of females participating in each of these events. The Teens On The Green televised series will be broadcast in English, Spanish, on African American TV, and at least 13 other languages. |
