New Demo Event Attracts Leading Golf Companies To 2003 PGA Fall Expo

NORWALK, Conn. - Nineteen golf companies will participate in a new golf product demonstration event at the 2003 PGA Fall Expo in San Diego, Calif. PGA Fall Expo attendees will be able to personally test products, accessories and services of exhibitors like Callaway, Nike, and Wilson at the Demo & BBQ on Aug. 5th, from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Riverwalk Golf Club in San Diego.

"Past experience with demo events and customer feedback tell us this setting is a win-win for exhibitors and buyers alike," said PGA Golf Exhibitions Vice President and Show Manager Christopher McCabe. "We anticipate that the Demo & BBQ will be a fun and casual yet productive evening for industry professionals."

The Demo & BBQ, staged the first night of the PGA Fall Expo, will feature hitting bays for equipment companies, a putting green, non-equipment exhibits and a free barbecue from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. The Demo will be open to all PGA Fall Expo attendees presenting their event badge and PGA Golf Exhibitions will offer complimentary shuttle service from the San Diego Convention Center (SDCC) to Riverwalk Golf Club, a fifteen-minute drive away.

The PGA Fall Expo, Aug. 5-7 at the SDCC in San Diego, Calif., is the country's second largest marketplace for retailers of golf-related merchandise. Thousands of golf industry professionals from around the world will attend the industry's premier fall business event offering more than 40 education seminars; exhibits showcasing products and services of some 300 golf-related companies; and interactive product demonstration areas on the Show floor.
