Academy for Conscious Golf & Business Launches The Conscious Golf & Business Seminar for Executives Contact Marjorie McIntosh OJAI, Calif. (August 6, 2003) - A new series of seminars has been launched for business executives who want to maximize their use of golf as a business tool while learning new skills to make significant breakthroughs in their business and personal lives. Conducted by the Academy for Conscious Golf & Business based in Ojai, Calif., the seminars were created and are being led by the Academy's founder, Gay Hendricks, Ph.D., a noted motivational speaker and author of more than 25 books, including Conscious Golf; and Mark Grody, founder and president of corporategolf.com, and author of the book Corporate Golf: How To Play The Game For Business Success. Each Conscious Golf & Business Seminar is conducted over 2 1/2 days - either in Ojai or at a corporation's home base. Each seminar is tailored to meet the individual needs of each company's executives. According to Hendricks and Grody, many benefits can be accrued from taking part in a Conscious Golf Seminar:
Each seminar includes interactive sessions in a classroom/discussion setting and a round of golf featuring role-playing and developing a plan for playing effective business golf to build and enhance business relationships on the golf course. "When used correctly, golf can be an extremely powerful business tool," say Hendricks and Grody. "Likewise, golf can be an incredible personal tool to use in achieving and sustaining deep enjoyment and profitable results, not only in business, but in life, itself. "In golf, business and life, a person must be able to perform on demand in ever-changing environments and circumstances," they say. "Golf, like business, is a true lifetime game, with profound learning available from beginner to expert levels at any age." Tom Boyer, CEO of the Academy for Conscious Golf, adds, "From a business standpoint, how likely are you to get a four- or five-hour meeting with the CEO of a company you'd like to do business with? Pretty slim," he states, "unless you're holding the meeting on a golf course where a round of golf can be like a half-day sales call."
