MEMPHIS, Tenn. (July 14, 2003) - Last week, Ian Poulter of Luton, England, came close to shooting a double eagle on Loch Lemond's 14th hole at the Barclays Scottish Open. Poulter drove the green on the 345-yard par 4, surpassing risky marshland and missing the cup by less than an inch.

To achieve this remarkable 345-yard drive, Poulter played Grafalloy Blue, the first shaft designed specifically for bigger clubheads and longer drives. Blue's unique micro-mesh low-torque design works to stabilize larger clubheads upon contact with the ball. This torsional stability makes for optimum trajectory and added distance. Grafalloy Blue definitely benefited Poulter's nearly record-breaking drive.
