Sonartec Golf Is On A Roll

(July 15, 2003) - Sonartec Golf is on a major roll heading into the British Open. The premium fairway wood company has had 14 Top Ten finishes in the last 11 PGA Tour events. So far in 2003, Sonartec has had over 50 players use over 330 Sonartec golf clubs on the PGA Tour. Sonartec currently ranks 5th on the PGA Tour for fairway woods played in 2003.

Greater Milwaukee Open
Two players finishing in the top 10 of the GMO were using Sonartec Golf clubs. Sonartec now has 21 Top Ten finishes and 11 Top 5 finishes in 2003.

100th Western Open
Sonartec Golf Staff professional Cliff Kresge finished tied for 6th at the 100th Western Open, moving him up to 61st on the money list and securing a trip to the 2003 British Open and the 2003 PGA Championship. Cliff uses Sonartec SS-02 14 and 17 degree fairway woods.

Fed Ex St Jude Classic
Nick Price used a Sonartec 3 wood with an Aldila "prototype" NV shaft at the Fed Ex St. Jude Championship to finish 2nd at the event. The top 5 finish was Price's 4th in his last 5 events. Price now ranks 10th on the 2003 PGA Tour money list and currently ranks 6th for top tens this year and 8th in scoring average with a 69.64 round average.

Buick Classic WINNER
Sonartec Golf won their first PGA Tour event of 2003 at the Buick Classic. The winner used a Sonartec 3 wood in the win to give Sonartec Golf their 7th victory on the PGA Tour in their 3 years as a company. For the third time this season, Sonartec ranked 3rd for amount of fairway woods in play in a PGA Tour event. Sonartec had 18 clubs in play by 13 players at the Buick Classic, according to the Darrell Survey.

U.S. Open
Three players using Sonartec Golf clubs finished in the Top 10 at the U.S. Open, including a Top 5 finish for company advisor Nick Price and the first Top 10 finish in a "major" for Sonartec staff professional Cliff Kresge. Sonartec had 14 clubs in play by 11 players at the U.S. Open, according to the Darrell Survey. This is the most clubs Sonartec has had in play in a "major" championship. Seven of the 11 players using Sonartec clubs made the cut at the U.S. Open.
