NEWARK, Ohio (March 13, 2003) -- Looking for a complete set of Ultra Game Improvement Metal Woods and Irons that utilize the absolute newest technology in materials and design? The answer is quite logical ... Logic Tech!

The all-new Logic Tech Metal Woods and Irons are among the most playable, and most eye-catching, in the game today. Designed by GolfWorks Founder Ralph Maltby and available exclusively from The GolfWorks, the Logic Tech line clearly reflects Mr. Maltby's theories on clubhead design, honed over more than 40 years in the golf industry.

"The new Logic Tech line is all about Playability," he said. "Golf is a difficult game to begin with, and even moreso when your equipment is not designed to help you achieve success.

"In creating the Logic Tech line, our goal was to achieve Ultra Game Improvement Playability throughout the set. That means golfers will find Logic Tech offers lower centers of gravity, extreme perimeter weighting and a very forgiving feel. Simply put, everything the average golfer needs to enjoy success during their round!"

Versatility also is a key characteristic of the Logic Tech series. The Metal Wood line offers four separate Driver models, as well as 3, 5, 7 and 9 Fairway Woods and 14°, 18° and 22° Hybrid Woods. The irons are available in 2-SW.

Logic Tech Drivers -- available in 9°, 9.5°, 10° and 10.5° lofts -- feature ultra-thin, ultra-strong faces manufactured from 10-2-3 Beta Titanium for maximum spring-effect performance. The 17-4 stainless Fairway and Hybrid Woods offer tungsten sole weighting to keep the center of gravity low with a slight bias toward the heel. A brilliant black-to-copper fade highlights the finish on the entire line.

Logic Tech Irons are crafted from 431 Stainless and offer shortened hosels, extended blade lengths and wider soles to provide ultimate swing consistency.

Logic Tech Woods and Irons achieve the highest rating of Ultra Game Improvement within the Maltby Playability Factor rating system. All 2003 clubheads distributed by The GolfWorks have undergone this evaluation. Furthermore, all new 2003 models have been created by designing specific standards into the heads to achieve a Playability Factor in the top three levels -- Ultra Game Improvement, Super Game Improvement and Game Improvement. These Playability Factor ratings are listed alongside each head in The GolfWorks 2003 Clubmaker's Catalog, and displayed on The GolfWorks web site at www.golfworks.com.

"Logic Tech is an evolutionary line," said Mr. Maltby. "Thousands of golfers have enjoyed success on the course with previous models in this line, but our 2003 designs are clearly the most Playable, most visually appealing and most forgiving we've ever produced."

The new Logic Tech Metal Woods and Irons, as well as more than 150 other new clubhead models, are all featured in The GolfWorks' 2003 Clubmakers Catalog. That 212-page publication is the largest and most complete in the golf clubmaking industry.
