CHAMP(R) Finishes Strong At International

CHAMP spikes worn by five of the top-10 finishers

MARLBOROUGH, Mass. (August 8, 2002) - At The International on the PGA Tour, five of the top-10 finishers wore CHAMP manufactured spikes and 41 percent of all golfers at The International wore CHAMP manufactured spikes.

Four of the top-10 finishers at The International wore CHAMP 6mm Cer-Mec(TM) spikes while one of the top-10 finishers wore CHAMP ScorpionSpikes(R). In addition, according to CHAMP's PGA Tour representative, 11 golfers wore CHAMP spikes (10 of which were CHAMP ScorpionSpikes), one wore spikes manufactured for Nike by CHAMP, and 47 golfers wore CHAMP 6mm Cer-Mec spikes. This means that 59 golfers or 41 percent of the field at The International wore CHAMP manufactured spikes.
