CHAMP Scorpionspikes Help Record-Setting Performance At Evian Masters

MARLBOROUGH, Mass. (July 31, 2003) - At the limited-field Evian Masters,
the winner posted her second victory of the year, 30th in her career,
set the tournament record at 21-under par and became the first American
to win the event--all wearing CHAMP ScorpionSpikes(TM). In addition,
nine of the top-10 finishers wore CHAMP spikes, with eight wearing CHAMP
ScorpionSpikes. Dating back to last year, CHAMP has won every spike count
on the LPGA Tour, and CHAMP spikes have won 23 of the last 27 events.
Overall, according to the Darrell Survey, 46 golfers wore CHAMP ScorpionSpikes at the Evian Masters (59 percent), five times as many as the next closest spike. In addition, according to CHAMP's LPGA Tour representative, five golfers wore CHAMP 6mm Cer-Mec(TM) and other metal spikes, bringing CHAMP's total spike count to 51, or 65 percent of the field.

overall score of 8.9 against all competing brands in the soft golf spike
