CHAMP and CHAMP ScorpionSpikes spikes top all others at Corning Classic
Contact Randy Guyton MARLBOROUGH, Mass. (May 28, 2002) - According to the Darrell Survey for the LPGA's Corning Classic, CHAMP won both the overall spike count and the individual spike count. According to the Darrell Survey, 66 golfers or 46 percent of the field wore CHAMP spikes, with the next closest brand at 52 golfers. In terms of individual spikes, according to the Darrell Survey, CHAMP ScorpionSpikes led the way with 65 golfers (45.5% of the field), while the nearest competitor had only 41 golfers. This means that CHAMP and CHAMP ScorpionSpikes have won the spike count in every tournament on the LPGA Tour in 2002. In addition to the spikes referenced above, eight golfers wore metal spikes, one wore Nike spikes, one wore Bridgestone spikes and one wore Etonic.
