MARLBOROUGH, Mass. (April 2, 2002) -- CHAMP, the worldwide leader in sport cleat technology, began shipping its new CHAMP TRAC soft golf spike this week to distributors and retailers. The CHAMP TRAC is the golf industry's first spike with an Anti-Clogging Bar to eliminate clogging.

The CHAMP TRAC is shipping in bulk, blister and bowl packaging. The blister packaging, which holds 22 spikes and a key wrench, is unique in that it is color coded by fastening system, making it easy for consumers to locate which CHAMP TRAC spike is right for them. The bowl packaging provides convenient storage for selling spikes individually and for use in locker rooms.

The CHAMP TRAC will be offered in a distinctive metallic blue and is available in all four fastening systems: the patented Q-LOK(tm) system from CHAMP, Tri-LOK(tm), small thread and large thread.
