Wildcat Golf Club Names ES Partners as Facility Manager

HOUSTON (October 3, 2002) - ES Partners will assume management responsibilities for Wildcat Golf Club effective October 1, 2002, according to Wildcat Golf Management, LLC, owner and developer of the daily-fee facility that opened in December of last year.
Wildcat is less than 10 minutes from downtown Houston and just one mile from the Reliant Park sports entertainment complex. Site of the highest elevations in Harris County, Wildcat's two 18-hole golf courses boast dramatic elevation changes unlike any other course in the region. The Highlands course features tumbling fairways and spectacular panoramas of the Houston skyline. The Lakes course meanders through nearly 60 acres of lakes surrounded by native foliage plush with seasonal colors. More than two million cubic yards of dirt were moved to create the hilly terrain.
"The natural beauty of the site and the panoramic views of the Houston skyline make Wildcat more than just a great golfing experience," said Alisa Freundlich, chief operating officer of Wildcat Golf Management. Freundlich said ES Partners was chosen to manage Wildcat because of the firm's outstanding track record in high-end daily-fee golf course management. Elmer Stephens, managing partner of the firm, was formerly president of Redstone Golf Management.

"He has a remarkable knowledge of both golf course management and the Houston business community. We're confident that under his leadership Wildcat will achieve its full potential as both a golfing venue and a business events facility."
