(April 15, 2003) - The 7th Audubon International/HoleView Environmental Yardage Book has been delivered to Innsbrook Resort Golf Course in Innsbrook, Missouri. The course has been certified as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary course, for its environmental stewardship through participation in the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program for Golf Courses.

The Yardage Book that HoleView developed with Audubon International reflects a strong environmental influence in a way that no other yardage book does. The most significant element is that there are specific notes on pages in the Book where some environmental aspect might be interesting for the golfer to notice. For instance in the new Yardage Book for Innsbrook Resort the comment on the 11th hole is "There are landscape beds at the tee and green with a naturalized area on both sides of the entire length of this hole. One Bluebird house is found on this hole."

"Golfer support for environmental quality is key to a course's success in protecting water, wildlife, and other natural resources," said Audubon International President, Ron Dodson. "The HoleView Yardage Book invites golfers to take a closer look at how Innsbrook Resort is protecting and enhancing its environment through the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program. I know golfers will agree -- it's worth preserving."

The Yardage Book has been designed for Innsbrook Resort Golf Course as part of a unique program for golf courses that become certified as Audubon International Signature Sanctuary Courses or Cooperative Sanctuary courses. This program involves the Golf Course Superintendent as well as Audubon personnel in describing some of the environmental elements. "Our Yardage Book showcases the diverse wildlife, plants, and natural communities which Superintendent Ed Wachter and his staff have worked so diligently to protect. Thanks to HoleView, we have the opportunity to share this information with our golfers," said Mark Waltman, Director of Golf.

"We are working with several courses throughout the world," said Terry Gamer, HoleView President, "that are either Audubon International Signature or Cooperative Sanctuary courses. We are very gratified by the enthusiastic interest of these environmentally-conscious golf courses."
