Champion Group Announces The Future Champions Fund

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. (May 29, 2002) - Champion Group Holdings, Inc. announced today the inception of its Future Champions Fund. Champion Group Marketing, the marketing division of Champion Group Holdings, Inc., has developed the Future Champions Fund to identify and provide financial support to promising young professional golfers and tennis players who have been unable to secure endorsement or sponsorship deals because of their relatively unknown status. "We have found the need for a funding source to athletes who may not have been All-Americans but who possess great potential and need sponsorship to help them reach the next level," stated Bradley Paskievitch, General Counsel and Vice President of Champion Group Marketing.

The Future Champions Fund will provide financial and marketing support to a group of professional athletes each year. The Future Champions Fund is sponsored by Champion Group and other corporations and individuals who wish to become involved in the development of young professional athletes.

Sean Harbour is the first recipient of funding from the Future Champions Fund. Harbour is a 23-year-old professional golfer from Massachusetts. He is in the second year of his professional golf career. Harbour will be competing this summer on the New England Pro Tour, a developmental golf tour for aspiring professionals. He will be attending the PGA Tour Qualifying Tournament this fall. Champion Group hopes to add at least four more athletes to the Fund by the end of this year.
