The latest issue of Golf World Business dated March 29, 2002, stated, "Carbite has increased its putter profile on the PGA Tour. Fred Couples, Retief Goosen and John Daly all had a Carbite putter in play at the Players Championship."

The article also explains how Carbite has developed the technology to produce golf's first and only perfectly balanced ball. The article states, "Carbite [has] patented the technology which produces a core and cover of equal density. It was developed by Chet Shira, the Company's R&D Director." Carbite has a licensing agreement with Wilson Sporting Goods, whereby Wilson has licensed this technology to produce the Wilson Staff True ball.

Sergio Garcia, the young Spanish golf star, has endorsed Carbite Golf's Putterball, an innovative putting teaching aid now being used by more than 100 touring pros. In 2000, Garcia played as a member of the U.S. PGA Tour, in addition to the PGA European Tour, and was 42nd on the money list. He also won the "Battle at Bighorn" exhibition match against Woods on prime-time network television. He has won over $2 million worldwide in each of his first two years and currently is No. 16 on the Official World Golf Ranking.
