About the Program:

Founded in 1996, the Rally For A Cure(R) with Golf For Women Magazine program has raised awareness of breast cancer and taken the life-saving message of early detection to hundreds of thousands of active women. Golfers at 2,800-plus clubs in all 50 states and 3 foreign countries answered the call in 2002 to fight breast cancer by supporting the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation through the Rally For A Cure(R) campaign.

Since the program's inception, Rally For A Cure(R) events are credited with raising more than $8.5 million dollars in much-needed funds for the Komen Foundation, with most of that money generated from fundraising activities at Rally events.

Rally For A Cure(R) supporters who are unable to attend the Aug. 16 event may still be participate by sending a tax-deductible contribution to the Seattle Chapter of EWGA at P.O. Box 2432, Kirkland, WA 98083, Attention: Rally For A Cure(R).
