(November 25, 2002) - Sun Mountain Performance Outerwear is gearing up for the 2003 PGA Show where they will unveil a total redesign to their top-of-the-line Gore rainsuit, as well as introduce a new zip-off sleeve rain jacket, and a short-sleeve rain shirt. Sun Mountain's worldwide search in development of last year's A/T line uncovered a unique 4-way stretch fabric that was incorporated into some jackets and pants. For 2003, Sun Mountain has constructed an entire rain jacket for the A/T line from this versatile fabric. The resulting Stratus jacket is weatherproof while offering the comfort and quiet of fleece. The Stratus carries a suggested retail of $210 and is available in Black/Cobblestone, Navy/Ember, and Bonfire/Smoke.

Sun Mountain's Nimbus rainsuit represents the top of line in golf outerwear incorporating a new "soft hand" waterproof/breathable Gore-Tex fabric into a totally new designed jacket and pant. Nimbus will be offered in Black, Smoke/Black, Moss/ Navy, and Navy/Smoke with a suggested retail of $350 for the jacket, $250 for the pant.

Cumulus is the latest in Sun Mountain Outerwear's line-up of convertible garments offering a rain jacket with sleeves that zip off to form a vest. Unique to Cumulus is back pocket with an invisible zipper for storing the zipped-off sleeves. Cumulus is guaranteed waterproof full-zip jacket featuring waterproof fabric, seam sealed and treated with an 80/30 spray-rated DWR finish. Cloudburst is a half-zip, pullover rain shirt featuring waterproof fabric in a short-sleeved shirt designed with raglan sleeves and shirttail hem. Cloudburst is the perfect piece to carry along for those short-lived, warm rain showers. Cloudburst is offered with a suggested retail of $88.00 in Black, Tequila, Moss and Baltic.
