WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (August 8, 2003) ‚ Firethorn, the junior golf apparel brand of West End Apparel, LLC, has become an official clothing supplier of the National Junior Golf Club. The National Junior Golf Club, which was formed in 2000, conducts over 110 junior golf tournaments annually for boys and girls ages 6-18. Tournaments are held in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. The organization is headquartered in Raleigh-Durham, NC. West End Apparel is the official clothing supplier for 6 to 12-year-old age groups.

"We are extremely proud to be an official clothing supplier for the National Junior Golf Club," said Rob Garrett, CEO West End Apparel. "We are pleased to be associated with an organization that actively promotes junior golf and creates opportunities for juniors to compete at all age levels."

"Sales from the National Junior Golf Club participants have been very encouraging," said Aubrey Linville, COO, West End Apparel. "We know that in the case of young juniors, we are really talking about support from parents, and we thank them for choosing our clothing line for their children."

Biggest seller, according to Linville, has been the solid color golf shirt. The Firethorn junior apparel line includes solid and stripe shirts in several colors, windshirts and rainsuits.

West End Apparel, LLC, is the exclusive North American licensee of Firethorn junior golf clothing. It is available at a growing number of golf shops.
