Golf Spec(July 24, 2003) - Having problems with accuracy and consistency in your golf game? Have you ever considered the fact that you may be lining up your shots incorrectly? Are you using your dominant eye? Do you even know whether you're right eye or left eye dominant? If you don't, and you play golf, you had better find out. Most golfers don't even know that they have a dominant eye let alone how to use it to line up their golf shots, but the pros do. Sports vision training has been the key to success for nearly every professional golfer out on the tour. If the pros use it to improve their game, why shouldn't you?

According to Dr. Lawrence Lampert, Vision Specialist and author of the book The Pro's Edge: Vision Training for Golf, "The proper position for consistent alignment in putting, chipping, and bunker play is to have your eyes directly over the golf ball, square to your target line, with your dominant eye over the back tip of the ball." Now the question is how do you know which is your dominant eye? And how do you know if you're properly lined up over the ball without any coaching or visual references? Well finally there's good news. Modern technology has provided us with a new way to coach ourselves and lower our golf scores almost instantly through the use of an innovative visual training aid called Golf-Spec.

Golf-Spec, a pair of eyeglasses with visual references that actually teach you the proper alignment over the golf ball, are designed to improve accuracy and consistency in your short game including putting, chipping and bunker shots. The key to success is using your (stronger) dominant eye when setting up to the ball. Golf-Spec teaches you how to properly align your eyes over the ball through the use of a box located on the lens of your dominant eye. Visual references for proper foot alignment and a track guide force you to square the clubface up at address and bring the club back square on your backswing and directly through the ball on impact resulting in more accurate and consistent golf shots.

By wearing Golf-Spec glasses golfers can also immediately identify things they are doing wrong in their swing, like using an improper stance or moving their head, and make an immediate adjustment or correction. Golf-Spec engrains the proper swing into your long-term memory through instant visual feedback. If you move your head, you'll know it instantly, and be able to correct it before it's too late.

"I have been teaching golf for over 10 years", said Bobby Lasken, PGA Professional. "I can't tell you how many times during a lesson that I've told a student that their head moved up during their backswing and down during their thru swing. They almost always respond, "I can't feel it". When they slip on a pair of the Golf-Spec training glasses, they can see it and feel it. Golf-Spec gives you a lesson every time you put them on and swing. I've had incredible results using this product with my students."

Golf-Spec will improve: your clubface alignment, your hand-eye coordination, your foot position, and virtually eliminate head movement, while producing more accurate and consistent golf shots.
